Hi everyone, my name is Dayla and I’d like to tell you a little
about myself . . .
          I am a 23 year old wife and mother of two. My husband
Jason and I got married on September 2nd, 2005. I became a
stepmother to an amazing little boy named Jeremy. He is now
7 years old and a very big part of my life.
          On January 1st of this year, I became a “Mommy” myself.
However my son Chance was born three months premature,
weighing only 1 pound, 15 ounces. Chance was at St. Joseph’s
NYICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit) for two months and two
days. The doctors informed us that Chance wouldn’t be able to attend daycare until he was over the age of two. This became our first obstacle for working full time. On March 3rd, the day Chance came home, I realized that my title would change from “Working Mom” to “Housewife”.
          Soon, the financial issues started and we needed to find a solution. Thanks to my wonderful grandmother, I am able to work 3 – 4 hours a day at a local Elementary School. Jason has a good job and is doing amazing on supporting our family. However, I'm not the type to sit back and watch him try to do it all on his own. So I thought about working two part time jobs, but that wouldn’t have worked. Then I realized do something fun, girly, and something I’ll love! Gold Canyon Candles! Yep that was it!
          So for the past three weeks my husband and I have stayed up to the wee hours of the morning talking about business plans, websites, and great marketing ideas for selling Gold Canyon Candles – which brings us to today.
